An 18-year-old man was stabbed to death during a fight at a birthday party in the Buenos Aires town of General Villegas. For the murder, Police arrested a 16-year-old teenageras reported.
The episode took place this Saturday, after 5:30 in the morning, when a 15th birthday party was ending in an event hall located on Llorente Street, between Castelli and Brown, in the aforementioned town in the northwest of the province of Buenos Aires.
In that place, about 50 meters from where the party was taking place, two young men began to argue and one of them stabbed the other in the belly, who finally died. The victim was identified as Darío Lombardo (18), while police sources confirmed to Telam that personnel from the General Villegas Police Station managed to establish who was the alleged perpetrator of the crime.
In this regard, the spokesmen indicated that the suspect is a minor under 16 years of age, who was transferred to a Youth Center in the city of Bahía Blanca after being captured.
The Juvenile Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) of the jurisdiction, led by Leandro Cortellezzi, intervened in the investigation, who ordered the seizure of interesting evidence after taking statements from witnesses and film material.
The pain of the mother of the murdered teenager
Regarding Lombardo’s death, his mother Norma Andrade indicated that the crime occurred during a fight between two boys who “had a fight” and that their son “messed with their friends”.
”One came with a knife and the other with a gun. On the way out, when they start fighting, they stab my son in the belly. The wound was big, everything bled to death, he just fell there. Within minutes he vanished.»Norma said sadly, in dialogue with the local media. FM Peregrina.
During the interview, the woman assured that Darío “wasn’t into fighting or carrying knives” and said she was in “a lot of pain” over his death. ”Today it was my turn and my life is gone. I’m not going to have him with me anymore, that’s what hurts, who gives him back to me? I already lost a son to electrocution, this is the second child I have lost, imagine the pain?” Norma continued.
Finally, Lombardo’s mother closed: “I find myself without five cents in my pockets. Mr. Rojo – Villegas’ Security Secretary – was the one who bought me the flowers. I wasn’t prepared for this. I am prepared for my son to be eating with me today. I have no comfort, I have nothing”.
