The president of the Servel Board of Directors, Andrés Tagle, addressed this Monday the organization’s work to prepare this weekend’s constitutional plebiscite. In an interview with Cooperativa, the authority explained that a quick vote is expected as it will be a single ballot, so «at 8:00 p.m. a good part of the results should be reviewed to mark a trend, unless it is narrow and it is necessary to wait». He also commented on the criticism that several people have made for his repeated assignment as table members, ensuring that although «he understands that it is a public charge, it is something essential for democracy.» Finally, when asked about the progress of voter georeferencing, Tagle clarified that «it is not guaranteed that the location is the closest (to the registered address), but it is a close one.»
