With just 10 days left until the presidential runoff, everyone is doing the math and analyzing polls, but beyond the numbers a certainty prevails: the campaign cannot stop. They are in that so much Sergio Massa (Union for the Homeland) as Javier Milei (La Libertad Avanza), with tours throughout the country to try to strengthen its voters and win over other people’s votes.
But they cannot cover the entire national or media territory alone. For this reason, they have different sides that act as spokespersons. Some even joined at the last minute, as is the case of the toughest PRO, led by Mauricio Macri and Patricia Bullrich. Both faced the task of convincing the Together for Change voter to join ““the majority change proposal”.

The president of the PRO and former candidate for president participated in a meeting this Thursday organized by Marcelo Peretta and the Trade Union Movement for Transparency and Trade Union Freedom. “I meditated and consulted with many about the decision to electorally support Javier Milei in this second round. It was a strategic decision. The Argentina does not deserve to remain condemned to the cycle of decline that began in 2003“Bullrich noted.

Along the same lines, he added: “The threat that Sergio Massa represents for a capitalism of rules and democratic alternation, It would condemn millions of Argentines to shipwreck. Most especially, to the young people who have expressed themselves mostly in favor of the change that Milei proposes. We can get out of this trap on November 19, by voting.”

And he concluded: “There are two options: change with freedom or continuity with Massa and his friends. I will always choose change. A change with austerity, transparency and progress for Argentines. And I know that most Argentines will too. It’s time to turn the story around”.
After the meeting, he spoke with journalists on the way out and expressed his concern about the holiday on November 20, the next day of the ballot. “We are thinking if there is any legal mechanism for them to separate it. because really “It is a way to totally and absolutely condition the vote.”, he claimed. And he remarked: “They make the decision because it is favorable to them. Today I saw very detailed surveys of that.”

In that sense, Bullrich assured: “It is an attempt to subtract voters who may be directed to Milei, it’s clear. 70% of the votes of those who would travel that weekend would be directed to one side.” And he added: “I want to meet with lawyers to see if there is some mechanism, some protection. The Electoral Chamber requested the change, but the Electoral Directorate depends on the Executive. It is a serious system error. “That allows these manipulations.”
He also dedicated a few words to his former rival in the PASO, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta: “He lost, his proposal was a minority. But that he wants to continue carrying it forward seems good to me, he has every right.” And he added: “The discussion we had was not center or right, it was change or continuity. I’m not saying that Larreta is the same as Kirchnerism, far from it, that’s why he is in Together for Change. But he had that idea. ¿Who were you planning to make the agreement with? with those who are proposing it today, like Massa. That already failed”.
Finally, he referred to the situation of his party: “The PRO has a mandate until February and there will be elections and then Larreta will present himself. I didn’t think about whether I’m going to continue or not, now I’m involved in this election.” And she declared: “Whether it is me or not, «The ideas that I represented internally are the ones that I want to lead the party.»
