At least five neighborhoods of Córdoba suffered a widespread power outage. This was confirmed by the Provincial Energy Company of Córdoba (Epec), who noted that the affected points were in the southeastern area of the provincial capital.
According to company spokespersons, the interruption in service occurred at 10 p.m. and returned minutes later. The affected neighborhoods were: Las Flores, San Daniel, Los Molinos Park, Irupé and General Artigas.

Minutes after the outage, the provincial company assured that the failure was national. A few minutes after the outage, the power returned.
“The restriction that affected different neighborhoods of the city and in the interior of the province was produced by a failure in the National Interconnected Systemspecifically in the 500 kv Luján – Río Grande extra high voltage line,” the entity stated.
