Walter “Walli” Sullings, engineer, and Hernán “El Toro” Ocampo, doctor, suffer from ALS, but that did not stop them from running the 42k in Buenos Aires. Its objective is to make the disease visible, raise funds to create the first comprehensive center for ALS patients in Argentina and, above all, set an example for life. Walter was diagnosed in 2021 and is currently undergoing experimental treatment in the United States in the hope that they will find a cure. Both he and Hernán need the collaboration of the community to pay for expensive treatment.
