The acting Minister of the Interior, Manuel Monsalve, delivered this Friday, at the Tucapel Mountain Detachment No. 8, in Temuco, eight armored vehicles intended for Army personnel deployed in the region of La Araucanía within the state of emergency constitutional exception. The activity was carried out one day after an arson attack by the CAM destroyed three forestry machines in the Nueva Imperial commune; act supposedly vindicating the memory of Matías Catrileo, a young man who died in Vilcún in 2008 from a police officer’s shot.
