Argentina was photographed by Jamie Hakesworth surrounded by the ornate baroque architecture of Isola Bella, Italy, for the collection Cruise 2024 of the French firm. Valentina Castro, Ida Heiner, Chu Wong and actress Emma Laird also participated in the campaign. The images recall the aquatic fantasy of the island, a jewel of Lake Maggiore, where the legends of the Borromeo family and aquatic folklore remain valid today.
A palace surrounded by endless foliage of gardens, which served as the backdrop for the Maison’s Cruise show in May of this year, once again became the setting chosen by the brand for this fashion session.
The mix of styles, fluid silhouettes and reliefs became protagonists in the garments that Argañaraz modeled, from dresses with ruffles, necklines and printed coats up to one scale skirt, all in tune with the aquatic aesthetic of the production. In addition, each look was accompanied by a leather wallet, the brand’s star item.
Leo Messi, the other Argentine chosen by Louis Vuitton
Posing for the famous French brand is a privilege for few. In addition to Mica Argañaraz, Leo Messi He is one of the Argentines who had the honor of doing a campaign for Louis Vuitton. In April 2023, the footballer became the face of Horizons never end, the brand’s new luggage line.
In this context, the world champion was photographed with a very sophisticated look at an airport: a total black set of t-shirt, jacket and tight pants, which she completed with black leather boots. With a carefree air, she placed her legs on a suitcase stamped with the classic logomania of the French house, created by designer Marc Newson. At your side, a travel bag and (of course) a matching soccer ball completed the scene.
“In a series of photos taken by photographer and filmmaker Glen Luchford, football legend Lionel Messi is captured en route to his next destination, accompanied by his Horizon suitcase. Emblematic of the House’s legacy, the Louis Vuitton Horizon line offers unprecedented perspectives and infinite freedom.«, the brand commented on this collection, which includes different pieces of luggage in a wide variety of prints and colors.
The post was filled with comments and reactions of admiration, from “I love you”, to “What a man my captain” or “On top of that, the most handsome”. In a fashion film which can be seen on the brand’s website, Leo Messi reflected: “Horizon for me means looking towards the future, letting myself be carried away by the imagination, and flying with the imagination. Think about what may come, what may happen, imagine everything a little.”
