The governor of Valparaíso, Rodrigo Mundaca, new president of the Association of Regional Governors of Chile, warned this Friday in Cooperativa about the delicate situation of insecurity that affects his region, which needs – he assured – to reinforce the fight against organized crime and the role that the SII has to play, in addition to overcoming a great lack of police personnel on its streets. «We have a deficit of police in the order of 800 troops (…) today, objectively, preventive work and the care of Carabineros is essential,» he analyzed.
