The Pokémon Anime Makes a Splash on Amazon
The Streaming Channel Will Include Seasons as Recent as Ultimate Journeys
With the closure of Pokémon TV in January 2024, fans have found it challenging to watch their favorite anime. However, the Pokémon Company has been introducing new ways for fans to enjoy the Pokémon Anime, such as a channel on the Plutotv app and a YouTube channel. Now, the anime will become even more accessible with the launch of the Pokémon 24/7 channel on Amazon, as announced in a press release from Wildbrain, the company handling the anime’s broadcasting rights.
Discover the Ultimate Pokémon Experience
Wildbrain’s press release describes the channel as a «Curated 24/7 broadcast of the first 25 seasons of the iconic original animated series featuring Ash Ketchum and his loyal partner Pokémon, Pikachu.» This suggests that while not every episode will be shown, there will be a diverse selection of episodes spanning Ash’s journey, from his early adventures to his later seasons as the main protagonist. The press release also hints at acquiring the rights to a «selection of Pokémon films,» potentially offering fans the chance to watch these movies for the first time through the channel.
