The Court of Appeals of Punta Arenas declared admissible the chapter complaint filed against the former deputy prosecutor of Puerto Natales Cristian Muñozallowing its eventual formalization for the crimes of bribery and disclosure of secretsallegedly committed in 2022.
According to the background of the case, led by the regional prosecutor of Aysén, Carlos Palma, the former prosecutor accepted to receive an economic benefit in exchange for carrying out acts in favor of a third person in February of that year.
In December of the same, Muñoz supposedly disclosed information to a third party about a drug investigationso that a subject from Puerto Natales avoided getting involved in illicit activities during that period.
