The Katy Summer Foundation began a fundraising campaign for its Oasis program, which provides early assistance to people suffering bullying and cyberbullying in school, work, family or social contexts, with a view to preventing suicides.
«Situations that require psychological first aid They frequently occur in high-pressure environments such as schools, higher education institutions, workplaces, communities affected by natural disasters or violence, and homes in crisis. It is precisely in these spaces where there is a lack of awareness about the importance of mental health, resistance to discussing these issues, and limitations in the financial and human resources necessary for extensive training,» he explains. Emanuel Pacheco, co-director of the Summer Foundation.
The campaign will run until July 2 and has a goal of 7 million pesos, to help around a thousand people belonging to around 10 school communities and/or companies throughout the country. Donations are received at fsummer.donando.cl/
