The 310 inspections of intercity passenger transport by the Directorate of Labor (DT), on the occasion of Holy Week, culminated with 119 fines applied throughout the country between Thursday and Friday.
The sanctions involve payment of 282,951,031 pesos (equivalent to 4,367 UTM, in its March value). Likewise, it was determined the suspension of a driver from the Valparaíso Region.
When looking at the detail, the Biobío accumulates the highest number of fines, with 19 punishments. They are followed by Arica and Parinacota (15); Coquimbo (11); O’Higgins and Los Lagos, with 10 each; Tarapacá and Atacama, both with 9; Metropolitan (7); Maule, Ñuble and Araucanía, all with 6; Antofagasta and Valparaíso, with 4, and finally Los Ríos, with 3.
