Once again, the president Javier Milei manifested itself in a way challenging on social networks, and as is usual, he chose X (ex Twitter) to do it.
On this occasion, he did so after what was the massive federal university march in defense of public education and demanding more budget for educational institutions.
However, the Government maintains that the budget issue is over since they affirm that a budget increase of 70% for May was negotiated with the university authorities, which is added to the 70% granted in March. Numbers that, from the perspective of those who mobilized yesterday, are insufficient.
Milei’s reaction to the university march
The President reposted a tweet from the “Grab the shovel” account and highlighted it among his messages. He himself shows the image of a lion with a cup in his right hand. She has a calm expression, as if wanting to realize that what he is doing is the right thing.
The particularity of the image is that the cup that this lion is holding and that he is putting to his mouth to drink, has the phrase written on its forehead “left-handed tears”.
