The novelty of the brand of American origin will be the Avengers. This was anticipated by the specialized site Autos Segredos. This is a model that is already marketed in the European market, where it includes hybrid and electric options.
When will it be produced and released?
The same media also reported that production of the Avenger will be carried out at the Porto Real plant, in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. It would be from the end of first half of 2026. And in the middle of the same year he would have his launch in the neighboring country, from where he would have to arrive in Argentina.
At the moment, the future model is mentioned – internally – as Project 516 or JJ (Jeep Junior), which refers to its size. Furthermore, in Brazil they anticipated some of its technical characteristics.
What is the Avenger like?
In the Jeep range, this SUV is located as the first option due to its proposal with dimensions such as 4.08 meters of length; It is 16 centimeters less compared to the Renegade, which is currently the brand’s smallest model in the region.
The exterior design of the Avenger includes a front sector with the classic grill with seven slots that identifies the brand. In addition, it has door handles embedded next to the uprights, two-color bodywork and a profusion of dark plastics in the lower area of the “body†.
We move on to the cabin and we find an on-board panel that has the prominence of the design of the air vents along with the combination of colors, including that of the body. Additionally, it has a digital dashboard, a central display 10.25 inches and 380 liters in the trunk.
This would be the mechanics
Unlike the options known in Europe, the Avenger produced in Brazil would have a new hybrid system, according to Quatro Rodas. It would be the technology Bio-Hybrid that Stellantis will produce in the neighboring country.
The same site also provided some of the characteristics of the system, which would include the gasoline engine 1.0 turbo with three cylinders and 120 horses currently available in models such as the Fiat Pulse (brand belonging to the same company). To that would be added a electric motor with a power of 24 to 54 HP, a battery of 1 to 2 kWh capacity and the also known CVT automatic transmission.
