The Granaderos, Patricios and Iriarte regiments simultaneously carried out the changing of the guard in Plaza de Mayo this Saturday for the first time in history, through a special ceremony where the three units of the Argentine Army coincided.
“It is a tradition that we are recovering and we are giving it a very important historical content. It is unprecedented. A historic relief of three regiments, Iriarte, Granaderos and Patricios like the one that was carried out, has to do with the demand that from the first day we wanted to make to the Armed Forces,’ assured the Minister of Defense, Luis Petri, during the act.
