Mike Flanagan, el director de Rey Stephen, conocido por películas como Juego de Gerald y Duerme del doctor, se encuentra actualmente en camino de adaptar la ambiciosa serie de televisión inspirada en la serie de libros del autor La torre oscura. A pesar de estar ocupado con proyectos como la futura adaptación televisiva de Carrie, Flanagan también está trabajando en la serie de La torre oscura, un proyecto tan masivo que lo compara con «construir un petrolero».

La vida de Chuck y el éxito de Mike Flanagan

Mike Flanagan está promocionando actualmente su proyecto La vida de Chuck, protagonizado por Tom Hiddleston, Jacob Tremblay y Mark Hamill, que se estrenará el 13 de junio. Las críticas iniciales confirman que es otro triunfo para Flanagan. Con películas de terror y shows como Ouija: Origen del mal, El inquietante de la casa de la colina y La caída de la casa de Usher, Flanagan ha demostrado su habilidad para adaptar las obras de King de manera efectiva.
