Buenos Aires – El gobierno de Javier Milei suspendido preventivamente La compra de Telefónica por Telecom (Teo). Lo hizo a través del Ministerio de Industria y Comercio del Ministerio de Economía, que emitió la medida preventiva «que suspende los efectos de la compra». Surge después de la recomendación de la Comisión Nacional para la Defensa de la Competencia, «Atento de que la fusión de ambas compañías aumentaría significativamente su participación en el mercado».

La declaración de la oficina del presidente explica que la fusión entre las empresas resultaría «En una concentración del 61% para el mercado de teléfonos móviles; 69% para telefonía fija; y, con respecto al servicio de Internet residencial, en algunas áreas del país la concentración podría alcanzar el 80%».

«A partir de la recomendación hecha por la Comisión Nacional para la Defensa de la Competencia, la decisión de proteger la transparencia y la concurrencia del mercado libre se ha tomado a través de la medida preventiva hasta que se profundiza el análisis de la operación notificada», dice el comunicado de que la estrategia de telecomunicaciones, compañía de Cablevisionón de Holding, del Grupo Clarín, dice.

Cuando se comunicó la compra de Telecom, el presidente Javier Milei ya había expresado su oposición al posible monopolio que se formaría. Y ese es el argumento principal de la opinión del Ministerio de Comercio: “A través de la medida, el gobierno nacional cumple con su obligación de garantizar los derechos de los usuarios y consumidores, además de defender la competencia contra todas las formas de distorsión del mercado. «
