The Ministry of Health reinforced the call for older adults and people from the highest risk groups to be vaccinated against Covid-19 influenza before infections rise considerably with the arrival of the cold.
The Undersecretary of Public Health, Andrea Albagliexplained that «seven weeks after starting the vaccination campaign, we already have a total of 4.5 million people who have been vaccinated against influenza. This is a very good development and reflects about 48 percent coverage considering all target groups. There are some groups that are above this, especially people with chronic diseases who already reach 53 percent.»
