Players in the United States can obtain codes at Gamestop stores, while those in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand can acquire them at EB Games. In Japan, the codes are available at local game stores. The codes are free and do not require a purchase at the store.
Players can only exchange one of these shiny Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet. If playing Scarlet, they can only exchange a shiny Miraidon, and if playing Violet, they can only exchange a shiny Koraidon. To obtain both shiny legendaries, players will need to trade with others, between consoles, or use Hogar Pokémon transfers.
