Susan Buckner the past died May 2 at 71 years old. The news was confirmed this week by the family’s publicist. The actress had participated in “Greaseâ€the legendary 1978 musical comedy starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-Johnwho died in 2022.
Buckner played the cheerleader Patty Simcox in the film directed by Randal Kleiser. Her character was a friend of Sandy Olssonplayed by Newton-John.

According to the media deadline that reported her death, Buckner passed away on Thursday, May 2, surrounded by her loved ones at her home in Miami.
“We will greatly miss the light that radiated in each place.â€Samantha Mansfield, the actress’s daughter, told People magazine. “She was magical and I was so lucky to be able to call her my best friend,†she added.
