In second place were the Argentines Daniela Bravo and Lucas Guevara.
Of the 20 finalists in the Stage category, 17 couples were Argentine, two winners of the Asian preliminary tournaments and the rest of the European ones.
In the category Track or ballroom tangodanced in Buenos Aires milongas and which rewards the connection in the embrace and the rhythmic walk of the dancers, the Argentines won Johnny Carvajal and Suyay Quiroga, what did they interpret «My pain», by Juan D’Arienzo.
The Colombians Alejandra Yepes Arboleda and Edwin Espinosa Rodríguez got the best fourth track score, Whose finals did they reach? 40 couples from Argentina (25), Japan (2), Indonesia (2), Russia (2), South Korea (2), Italy (2), Turkey, the United Kingdom, Armenia, the Netherlands and Colombia.
For the first time it was also awarded the prize for the Senior Track category, of over 55 yearswhich was won by the couple formed by the Argentines Sandra Leal and Sergio Decrin, from Rosario (Santa Fe).

The finals were enlivened by three living glories of Argentine tango, the pianist José “Pepe” Colángelo and the singers Amelita Baltar and Raúl Laviéwho interpreted classics such as «Madame Yvonne», «Ballad for a madman» and «Orange tree in bloom» for the hundreds of attendees to the festival in the cold Buenos Aires night.
The World Cup closed with a special choreography in which Argentine and foreign winners of the previous editions of the tournament participated.
