He Government wants to put together a “May Council” to expand the 10 points of the pact with governors. As far as he could know TNthe Casa Rosada wants it to be made up of national ministers, provincial officials, companies, unions and civil associations.
The Executive seeks to involve these sectors to define the economic, fiscal, pension and tax details of the agreement which was postponed due to the delay in the opinion of the Bases Law and the fiscal package in the Senate.

In principle, this is the commission that the ruling party wanted to put together with provincial economic officials, which was going to be led by the Secretary of the Treasury, Carlos Guberman, but which was never summoned.

The points that Javier Milei proposed for the pact are inviolability of private property, fiscal balance, reduction of public spending around 25% of GDP and a tax reform that reduces the tax burden.
It also includes the rediscussion of federal tax sharinga commitment by the provinces to advance the exploitation of the country’s natural resources, a labor reform, a pension that allows subscribing to a private retirement system and the opening to international trade.
The Government wants to modify point 9 of the May Pact, which proposes a political reform that «modifies the current system and realigns the interests of the representatives and those represented.» The Executive would remove it to include education as a focus of reform to be debated.
The Casa Rosada also gave in to the negotiation for the Bases Law in the Senate to try to obtain a ruling next week. Agreed to include a special regime for the restitution of Income Tax for the Patagonian provinces and was open to modifying the Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI) to benefit national suppliers.
