On Wednesday, a salary agreement was reached between the Municipal Employees and Workers Union (SEOM) and the Municipality of Rafaela and, therefore, it was decided that the force measure planned for this Thursday would be lifted.
According to what was officially reported by the Municipality of Rafaela, the activities will take place normally this May 23.
For now, there were no official details of agreement regarding the percentages, but, according to what ViaRafaela was able to find out, it was at values similar to what was presented by the Province and that was agreed upon by SADOP, AMSAFE, ATE and UPCN: this It is a salary increase for April, May and June, of the order of 9%, 5% and 4% respectively, based on March, which implies an increase of 18%.
FESTRAM also agreed
The meeting of the Joint Board of Municipal and Communal Workers of the Province of Santa Fe Law 9996 was held – where the representatives of Mayors and Communal Presidents and FESTRAM agreed to a salary increase of 13% in April, 8% in May and 7% in June, set on January 2024 salaries.
Let us remember that SEOM is no longer affiliated with FESTRAM, but the second union, AMURC, is.
In this way, with the signed document, the salaries of the Municipal and Communal workers of the Province accumulate an increase of 81% for the first half of the year.
The increase is added to the current salary policy and thereby guarantees that no worker will receive with their May salaries an increase of less than $85,061 compared to the last salary received.
The agreement brings the amount of the Guaranteed Minimum Pocket Wage to $415,296 in April; $435,311 in May and $452,823 in June.
The percentage increase established in the minutes is fully remunerative and subsidizable and will be transferred to the passive beneficiaries of all the Municipal Funds and the Retirement and Pension Fund of the Province of Santa Fe.
The salary discussion will continue on July 18 with a new meeting of the Joint Board where the parties will advance the second semester.
