The investigation into fraudulent kitchens and extortion of beneficiaries continues to add data, complaints and regrets. This is the case of Rozy Giménez and Miguela Vera, a former delegate and a former beneficiary of the Polo Obrero in Villa Zabaleta (Villa 21-24), who confirmed that they were the ones They charged the beneficiaries a monthly fee and threatened those who were not going to march.

Those who could not pay the required percentage were threatened with “cutting off” the plan, Giménez confirmed. In addition to the monthly payment, he said that the Polo Obrero charged for food at the distribution center “Pavement†. Food that arrived from the Ministry of Social Development was held there until the beneficiaries paid. Otherwise, they could not remove them. “Now, they are charging $1,000 to deliver the merchandise and $500 for the delivery of fresh goods. «Whoever does not have enough to pay, they will not deliver.»

Miguela Vera received the Empower Work plan through the Polo Obrero.
