Good heavens! The final battle in ‘Good heavens’ impacts all of Manhattan, leading every important MCU character in the city to face the void. Unlike traditional superhero battles, the third act of ‘Good heavens’ presents a more abstract confrontation based on emotions between the heroes and their main antagonist. The power of the void cannot be overcome by sheer strength, but Yelena Belova and her new friends manage to stop it by empowering Robert Reynolds, who overcomes the darkness at the expense of his powers.
Good heavens does not have as many direct references or Easter eggs as other multiverse saga entries. However, the post-credits scene sets the stage for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’, and ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’. ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ exists in a separate timeline with little connection to the MCU-616 Earth. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ will have numerous characters and plot points to balance.
