Yesterday, in the auditorium of the corporate tower of Banco Macro, the winners of Naves were announced, a program that supports entrepreneurs and SMEs from all over the country so that they can develop their projects and promote the growth of regional economies.
Authorities from IAE and Banco Macro, members of the distinguished IAE support network, journalists and special guests participated in the announcement.
The objective of the program is to enhance the initiatives of individuals and companies through excellent academic training, support, and access to a wide network of contacts, thus achieving the impetus for the social and economic development of the entire country.
The 32 finalist teams were selected from more than 1,600 projects registered in Naves 2023, which this year replicated its headquarters: Salta, Jujuy, Tucumán, Mendoza, Santa Fe, Córdoba, Neuquén, Misiones and Buenos Aires, but thanks to virtuality they managed to arrive to all the provinces of the country.
For this edition, more than 1,600 projects were presented from different and varied industries related to services, health, technology, agriculture, biotechnology, gastronomy, tourism, recycling, energy, among others.
The Entrepreneurship Center of the IAE Business School has been carrying out the Naves Program since 1999 and, since 2015 and thanks to the support of Banco Macro, it managed to extend its impact and reach the interior of Argentina, financing, for the ninth consecutive year, 100% of the program. Federal.
For 9 years, with the objective of supporting the federalization of the program, Banco Macro invested more than 153 million pesos, which allowed, since then, more than 11,700 entrepreneurial people from all over
the country could access Naves completely free of charge with its 7,500 projects.
The ventures that reached the final had the possibility of accessing ten training seminars, access to a mentor from the IAE support network who accompanied them in the Business Model validation process. In turn, the winners of the Federal editions had the additional support of a mentor from Banco Macro who helped them in the financial aspects of the business.
Another fundamental aspect of the program is the interaction with other entrepreneurs, generating a Naves community that has a collaborative and empowering spirit, as well as contact with the IAE support network made up of representatives of the entrepreneurial ecosystem (investors, academics, businessmen, media ).
