The measure seeks to increase the supply of said raw material, optimize its production systems and improve its profitability.
Through the Resolution 1606/2023 of the Ministry of Economy, which was published in the Official bulletin This Thursday, the Government increased the benefits of Impulso Tambero 2 Assistance Programwhich was created last July.
It should be remembered that the program aims financially assist small and medium-sized milk producers in order to increase the supply of this raw material, optimize its production systems and improve its profitability.
Thus, the benefit consists of compensation $20 for each liter of milk producedwith a maximum monthly allocation limit of $800,000.
Tamberos: what Resolution 1606 resolves
- An increment 20% in the second installment of the Program. Article 1 establishes that the second installment of the Program, which was originally $720,000, will be $864,000.
- The assignment of two additional monthly installments for November and December of 2023. Article 2 establishes that two additional monthly installments will be assigned to the producers contained in Annex I of the Resolution, for a value equivalent to that of the second installment. That is, producers will receive $864,000 in November and $864,000 in Decemberin addition to the two original installments of $720,000.
- A limit of $960,000 per beneficiary. Article 3 establishes that the monthly allocations subject to this measure may not exceed, in no case, the sum of $960,000 per beneficiary.
- Authorization to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to dictate complementary regulations. Article 4 authorizes the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to dictate the complementary and explanatory rules and administrative acts that are necessary for compliance with the provisions of this measure.
- A budget allocation limit of $7,743 million. Article 5 establishes a total budget allocation limit for the implementation of this measure of $7,743 million, charged to the corresponding items of the current budget of the Financial Administrative Service 363 – Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.
In summary, the Resolution of the Ministry of Economy resolves expand the benefit of the Impulso Tambero 2 Assistance Programgranting a 20% increase in the second installment and two additional monthly installments for November and December 2023.
Furthermore, it establishes a limit of $960,000 per beneficiary and authorizes the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to dictate complementary regulations.
