Under cover under The Bosun Wihan du Toit Original was abruptly dismissed by Captain Jason Chambers during episode 11 of the current season following a series of failures on his part, but surprisingly, he managed to keep the Romance department interesting. Well, technically he did not since he is not romantically involved with anyone from the season, but it seems he has a new love interest based on his Instagram posts. Under cover under Season 3 marked Wihan’s debut in reality shows. Upon reviewing the footage, it’s evident that there’s room for improvement in his work ethics aboard the yacht.
Wihan seemed to prioritize romantic pursuits over work, even prompting Deckhand Harry van Vliet to comment at one point, «This is not a singles cruise, this is a super yacht.»
Wihan’s lackadaisical approach to work and management resulted in significant issues within his department, which then spilled over into other areas.
He appeared more interested in pursuing relationships with multiple women on Super Yacht Katina rather than focusing on his job.

After showing interest in Tzarina, Wihan found himself in a rendezvous with Stew Marina Marcondes de Barros, culminating in a kiss. This caused Tzarina considerable distress. However, amidst the chaos, Wihan ultimately concluded that he wasn’t truly interested in either of them and instead professed his love for Adair Werley.

Following his romantic entanglements with Marina and Tzrina, Wihan shifted his focus to Adair. Despite Adair being Wihan’s subordinate, this did not deter Wihan. Once again, questions arose about Wihan’s leadership abilities. Wihan made a direct advance towards Adair, who showed no reciprocal interest, as Wihan had not previously displayed any interest in her.
«Adair, as country music plays softly in the background, those enchanting green eyes and beautiful smile have captivated me, and all I can think about is the next time I see you… Adair, I understand we work closely together and spend a lot of time together. I strive to maintain a professional relationship at all times, but I cannot deny my growing feelings for you.»
Wihan further exacerbated the situation by penning a love letter, a move ill-advised in a reality show setting. The editors seized the opportunity to mock Wihan, reading his letter aloud repeatedly for entertainment.

Fortunately, Wihan has found a new romantic interest in Kayla Burger, as evidenced by his Instagram posts. It seems that Kayla has embraced Wihan’s past and their relationship is blossoming. It remains unclear whether Kayla is also involved in yachting, a domain where Wihan’s performance has been questionable at best.
